Blues Cruise 2012 - Bobby & the Renegades

During the week of September 23-29, I had the fortune of going on the 1st annual Blues Cruise.  The 7 day cruise on Carnival Valor stopped in Key West, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica.  Present on the cruise were 3 of South Florida's top blues bands.  Bobby and the Renegades, Blues Dragon, and David Shelley and Bluestone performed in the Eagles Ball Room on multiple occasions throughout the trip.  I was surprised at the completely different, but very definitive style of each band.  Throughout the week the excitement ramped up as the anticipated "All Star" night approached.   It seemed as though each band's set trumped their previous evening's performance.  While the performances by each group were amazing on their own,  the "All Star" night was absolutly ridiculous.

I've assembled the best shots from each band from the entire week, including images from the "All Star" night.  I'll be adding a different band each day for the next 4 days.  Enjoy!!

  1. Jeff thank you for the kind words about the cruise. I think you said it best when you said that every night the music and performances got better and better. The last night of jamming was beyond awesome. There really aren't enough words to describe how much fun this cruise was.
    Thanks again,
