Jessica's Bat Mitzvah

I was blessed to able to shoot an amazing young lady's Bat Mitzvah this weekend.  Surrounded by family and friends, I witnessed an array of emotions pouring out from Jessica.  Nervousness, excitement, calmness, joy, sadness, and elation, are just a few.  I've assembled a series of highlights from the evening.  

I would like to say thanks to my associate Frank Donnino for giving me the opportunity to create images at this very special event, and a great big "Congratulations" to Jessica!!

Blues Cruise 2012 - All Star Band

On the last night of our week long cruise on Carnival Valor, the Eagle's Ballroom held the "All Star Jam".  It was a blast to see all these great players max and match with each other and really put on a great show.  Blues Dragon even dragged me up for a tune!!  The camaraderie was amazing as these humble musicians became "family" over the course of the week long journey.  Everyone involved in this week long jam session, had an incredible time and left this vacation with an entirely new group of friends!!

Blues Cruise 2012 - Blues Dragon

Last but not least are some very dear friends of mine.  Blues Dragon consists of Mark Telesca, Tony Monaco, Fred Weng, Rick (Rico) Geragi, and Mike Hundley.  Their extraordinary take on Pre-WWII blues is a style all their own.  Modern recreations of Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, and Willie Dixon are what these guys due best.  They're also full of amazing originals that have a dirty gritty kind of old world blues inflection.  If you're in the South Florida area, Blues Dragon, IBC (International Blues Challenge) 2012 South East Region Champions are not to be missed!!  Up next…All Star Night!!
