I've started my first solo Meetup group this week called Photography 101. I've put together this meet up to educate anyone and everyone with a DSLR camera (cameras with interchangeable lenses), on the basic functions of their camera and how to get the most out of it. I will be having random meetups at different locations to get together with the members and shoot on location, and I will answer questions for individuals while we are at the location. Our first meetup will be on Sunday, July 22nd at 2pm in front of Tiffany & Co. on Worth Ave, Palm Beach
I am also holding Photography 101 education classes. These will be classroom oriented with lectures, powerpoint presentations specifically designed for the topic of discussion by me. I'll be teaching a "Camera Basics" class, Composition 101," "Flash Basics" and many more!! They will all include plenty of in-class hands-on assignments to get you familiar with your camera and all those "scary" settings. You will have plenty of time to ask questions during and after the course if necessary. It is my goal to make sure you fully understand everything about that particular subject before leaving. These classes will be in the neighborhood of 8 hours. Printed course materials, along with lunch, and refreshments will be provided as part of the tuition for the class.
